Kandiland's three-year-old preschool room
offers an exciting and stimulating program that
offers the children many challenges in a loving
and happy environment. The curriculum, toys
and schedule are geared for a three year old.

  • Kandiland's three-year-old preschool
    program focuses on shapes, color,
    numbers and letter recognition.
    Language development is stressed
    through a variety of mediums including workbooks, reading, flashcards, arts,
    music and play. Using our theme-based curriculum, the three year olds are introduced to new concepts as well as building on basics already mastered.
  • These young preschoolers work with colors and shapes through art projects which promote eye-hand coordination and manipulative skills.
  • The three-year-old preschool curriculum is Bible-based. The children learn Bible stories which aid in language development and memorization skills as well as teaching morals and values.
  • Their room is set-up in "centers" which allows the children to rotate from center to center experiencing different mediums for expression, play and learning. Centers include a dramatic play center with a kitchen/home area and a grocery store with dress-up clothes which encourage language development, sharing, and cognitive thinking. The three-year-old room also has an art center which offers a host of mediums for self expression and building fine motor skills. The block center and manipulative center encourage eye-hand coordination and gross motor skills. A science center invites the children to explore nature, insects, magnetism, dinosaurs, the solar system and much more.
  • The weekly curriculum includes a creative movement section which introduces the children to music, dance and exercise.
  • Spanish is offered as well to teach about Spanish and Mexican cultures and to begin the little one's in an introduction of the Spanish language which should serve them well when they begin formal Spanish classes.
  • Kandiland's multi-level, multi-area playground allows the children to explore outdoors in a fun and safe environment. With big, open areas, the children can engage in class games, run and jump and explore nature.
  • The three-year-old preschool program includes a hot breakfast, morning snack, hot lunch and an afternoon snack which gives our little ones the nutritious foundation they need in order to learn and play.
